Hanbo High tech: Large size backlight products empower Geely Galaxy E8 with enhanced car product layout
On January 5, 2024, the "China's new generation pure electric flagship" Geely Galaxy E8 was officially launched and began delivery simultaneously. One of the biggest highlights of this model is that it is equipped with the world's first mass-produced 45-inch 8K unbounded smart screen. The car screen achieves screen size, 8K quasi retinal resolution, and a screen to body ratio of up to 98%. It integrates the instrument panel, center console, and passenger seat on one screen, breaking the limitations of traditional car display technology and providing a new direction for the integration of car display technology and aesthetics.

It is understood that the car screen of Geely Galaxy E8 is equipped with Hanbo High tech large-sized car display backlight product. This product is the first large-sized backlight in China, with a backlight length of about 1.2 meters, and adopts innovative LGP dot processing technology (laser laser technology). This product not only brings users an ultra high definition and ultra integrated boundaryless interactive experience, but also redefines the standard for intelligent cabins in pure electric cars, injecting new impetus into the intelligent development of the automotive industry. At the same time, this product is also the first 45 inch display product in the industry to be launched.

According to public information, as an excellent provider of car display solutions in China, Hanbo High tech has been responsible for the research and production of 45 inch display products for the Geely Galaxy E8 project since July 2022. Through professional optical and mechanical solutions, Hanbo High tech has successfully achieved mass production of large-sized backlight products.
Car mounted display is an important port for interaction between humans and cars, and the next stage of development for car mounted screens is towards larger, more multi screen, and improved display quality. At present, car companies such as Ideal, Xiaopeng, Cadillac, Feifan, and Geely have significantly upgraded their screens to bring a differentiated experience. According to IHSMarkit statistics, screens with over 500000 pixels will have a market share of 90% by 2030, and car screens have broad development potential.

Currently, more than 70 backlight module products (including Mini backlight and traditional backlight) are in the stage of sample delivery, supply, or designated location.
